Zooey Deschanel [...the only person in Hollywood whose style I would readily and eagerly wear myself....] and M. Ward have an album together! I bought it over the weekend to listen to while I edited pictures and was very much pleased. I first saw Zooey in the movie Almost Famous, and fell in love with her voice in the movie Elf.
You will love it, trust me. She rivals Neko Case for best female vocalist in my book.
we were at a dinner party a few weeks ago and someone told us that she’s in a lil band and apparently plays all over L.A. we’re planning to go listen to her one of these days. of course, everyone knows she can sing. even in an elf costume.
